VTG VERNONWARE METLOX POPPY TRAIL 'HOMESPUN' SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS CA POTTERY

Description

These are Salt and Pepper Shakers from the 'Homespun' pattern by Vernonware Metlox Poppy Trail Vernon Kilns ~ California Pottery ~ manufactured between 1948~1958.  They feature green, rust, & yellow plaid.  They are handpainted underglaze.  These shakers are unmarked and do need stoppers.  They are in very good, pristine condition with a 2 mm superficial chip at the top of the salt shaker near the bottom of the 'S' & a pinhead sized chip on the top of the pepper shaker near the bottom of the 'P'.  They stand 2 7/8" in height and are approximately 2 3/8" at widest point (bulb).

Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail, with insurance, and which is almost always done same day as payment is received (I do not hold paid items for any reason longer than 3 days).  (All glass is shipped via USPS Priority Mail which includes insurance.  Extreme care is given to packing glass as well as all non-breakable items).  Corelle can ship Ground as it is advertised chip/break resistant.
