This listing is for a Very Good to Excellent condition, pre-owned Vintage Hand-Painted VERNON KILNS "Brown Eyed Susan" Pattern Ceramic Teapot w/ Lid.
Produced by VERNON KILNS in Vernon, California.
Estimated circa 1950-60's (+/-).
Vernon Kilns was in operation from 1931-1958, subsequently purchased by Metlox.
Hand-Painted details are very well-applied.  Colors are crisp and bright.
Piece exhibits only minimal signs of handling, use, or wear.
No chips, cracks, crazing, or other known defects beyond those noted below.
May exhibit minor flea bites, brush marks, decorating, glazing, or mold blemishes.  Kiln riser marks noted.
Teapot is marked with appropriate VERNON KILNS hallmark on bottom as shown in photos.  Lid is unmarked.
Teapot measures 3" diameter at base x 6" diameter at midbody x 4" diameter at top opening.  Measures 8 1/2" across handle and spout.
Lid measures 4 1/4" diameter x 1 3/4" over top of lid finial.  Assembled teapot stands 6 1/4" high over top of lid finial.
