Here's a neat Vernon Kilns collector plate!
This plate features New Orleans, Louisiana. Wonderful old-town scenes are depicted, including Pirates Alley, Courtyard of the Two Sisters, the Old Absinthe House, and Madam John's Legacy. So much history, adventure, and romance in one city!
A side note to collectors—while I have sold other Vernon Kilns New Orleans plates of the Old Town (Vieux Carre) before, this plate has very different graphics than any of the others, so it’s worth looking at even if you have a New Orleans Vieux Carre plate.
This plate is made on the Ultra shape, and measures 10 3/8". It is glazed in brown. The backstamp reads:

The Vernon Kilns trademark is not included, but this plate is guaranteed to be by Vernon Kilns.
