Here’s a super Vernon Kilns plate straight from the Heartland!
This Vernon Kilns collector plate highlights my home state--Kansas, heartland of America and breadbasket to the world.
The plate shows several buildings and monuments of importance to Kansas history, including the capital building in Topeka, the Campanile on the KU campus in Lawrence, the Field House at Kansas State in Manhatten, the William Allen White memorial in Emporia, and much more. The rim features a border of cheery Kansas sunflowers, the state flower.
This plate is made on the Ultra shape, and is hand painted in multicolor. It measures about 10 1/2" in diameter. It is artist signed

near the rim at the 9:00 spot.
The backstamp gives a brief state history of Kansas, and includes the Vernon Kilns trademark
“Designed by

U.S.A.”.
Condition is pristine, even mint! No sign of use or wear, and no damage at all.
