Condition:
Our photos are the most important part of our description. Please zoom in on all of them and examine them closely to determine the condition of these pieces according to your own standards. In our opinion, these pieces are in overall very-good to excellent+, very-vintage condition. Very, very fresh and clean pieces. None have cracks, chips, stains or crazing. Bowls 1-4 have no issue other than some scattered completely colorless light scratches to the glaze, the kind that can only be seen when held up to a direct source of light at just the right angle. Bowl 5 has the same light colorless glaze scratches along with a teeny-tiny fleabite -- see photo highlighting it. Bowls 6 & 7 have slightly more than a few light colorless glaze scratches but not enough of them to really detract from their appearance. And Bowl 8 has the same level of colorless glaze scratches, not light but not enough to be considered moderate, as well as two or three small dark gray utensil marks. Not dark enough or big enough to attract the eye, but they're there, so we mention them and point them out in the photos. Overall, a very nice, hard to find larger collection that is sure to please.
We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (

) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.
