Here’s a fabulous piece of Vernon Kilns!
This is a disc pitcher from their Ultra line. The disc pitcher is glazed in maroon, a very hard-to-find color in the Ultra shape. It measures 8” high, 4” wide, and is 9” from tip of spout to the handle. The bottom has a partial circular backstamp, but against the deep maroon glaze it’s nearly impossible to see.
Condition is very good! One side of the flat disc surface has visible scratching, you can see this in the photo. The glaze has a flat glaze crazing. The surface is perfectly smooth, you can only see the crazing if you turn the pitcher at an angle under direct light.
A wonderful addition to your Vernon Kilns collection.
