    Description

    Up for auction a vintage Art Deco Folkestone Bowl Designed by Lurelle Guild in 1934. Scarce and rare. The Patent was granted in 1935. Bowl has been identified in the Art Deco Aluminum Kensington book by Paula Ockner and Leslie Pina. This bowl is multipurpose. Introduced for small fruits and sizable flower arrangements, flower pot holder and an ice bucket. This is one of only 3 designs that incorporated glass balls in the decoration. The bowl has a mix of materials that include; aluminum, glass balls and brass applique. Measures 7 3/8"h. Weighs 1 pound 12 oz prior to packing. Catalog number was 7413.
